I had the opportunity to travel to Costa Rica with www.walkingtree.org to document a Discovery program for two weeks. Walking Tree Travel guides 15 high school students through 2,3 and 4 weeks programs to foreign countries where they experience the culture, language, and the views while traveling around the country as well as doing a homestay with local families and doing a service project. All photos can be seen here with password: costarica http://walkingtree.smugmug.com/ ... enjoying the journey!

First pic is EPIC
ReplyDeleteI was lucky to visit Costa Rica in 2007 - I got sick on the way there and spent a week in a kind of haze, but still I was stunned by the beauty and the feeling of wild freedom there. We stayed at Manuel Antonio right at the beach, and seeing this last photo made me a bit nostalgic.
ReplyDeleteCosta Rica now has a female president and I have good hopes for the further development of their ecological and educational projects. I love the fact that the country doesn't have an army, but uses the budget to be self-sustained and environmentally aware place.
is that you enjoying the waterfall with that babe? you man, you!
